'Bachelor in Paradise' Star Evan Bass Pays $150K In Lawsuit

The future seemed bright for Evan Bass after his time on 'Bachelor in Paradise.' He left engaged to Carly Waddell. The two got married and had two kids together, Isabella and Charles. However, it isn't necessarily happily ever after for Evan Bass.

Bass was sued for having "deceptive erectile dysfunction ads" according to E! News. E! News obtained court documents that read, "sold erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, and other men's sexual function treatments" in the state of Tennessee "through multiple widely-disseminated, deceptive marketing campaigns."

The documents that the outlet received were issued by Tennessee Attorney General Herbert H. Slatery III against Evan Bass and his men's clinic to. Slatery III's intent was to "protect consumers and the integrity of the commercial marketplace."

"This lawsuit is based exclusively on Defendants' deceptive entrepreneurial, commercial, or business activities, and is not a health care liability or personal injury action," the doc stated as well as an "at least 10 days" notice of the State's intention to "institute legal proceedings against them."

Evan Bass agreed to pay $150,000 to the state in an action that the documents describe as "a monetary judgment of $150,000 is entered jointly and severally against the Defendants." While Bass has yet to comment on the case, the agreement to settle implies an admittance of guilt.

This isn't the first time that Evan Bass's men's clinic has been a central topic of conversation. Bass actually introduced his profession as "Erectile Dysfunction Specialist" on JoJo Fletcher's season of 'The Bachelorette.'

It may not have been the best introduction to the show. Evan only lasted until week 5 of 'The Bachelorette.'

The E.D. specialist redeemed himself on 'Bachelor in Paradise.' He instantly fell Carly Waddell. The feelings were not initially mutual. Carly was creeped out by Evan. It wasn't until he sat by her side while she was sick that she saw him as her knight in shining armor.

While the two were an unlikely couple, they were very successful in the show.

They ended up winning 'Bachelor in Paradise' season 3. The two got married in Mexico in a ceremony officiated by 'The Bachelor' host Chris Harrison.

Bass had been previously married before appearing on 'The Bachelorette.' His wife was Marie Bass. The two had three sons together named Ensley, Liam and Nathan. Between his two families, Evan now has 4 sons and 1 daughter.

Marie has been known to slam Evan and Carly's marriage and has thrown shade at Carly on her Instagram story.
