'The Bachelor' recap: Who does Peter send packing after Victoria P. bombshell?

Bachelor Nation, are you popping more champagne? Because if you thought that drama was over, this is probably your first "Bachelor" rodeo. But even after last week's drama dissipates, another conflict bubbles to the surface.

Kelsey and Hannah Ann start off Monday's episode of the ABC show crying to each other about "champagne-gate." But you know who isn't crying? Victoria P., who is off to a one-on-one with Peter. The pair don cowboy gear (including hats) and go line dancing – something Peter and his friends love to do. Victoria P. seems like a natural, and they fit well together. They admit to each other they're smitten.

Back at the house, Kelsey expresses her frustration to Hannah Ann about being called a bully. Hannah Ann points out that Kelsey called her fake, and Kelsey apologizes but counters that using unkind words isn't bullying. (Has Kelsey looked into the definition of bullying?)

"We’re going into the third rose ceremony and we are still talking about a champagne bottle that got popped," Victoria F. says, giving voice to our inner monologue.

To add fuel to an unnecessary fire, Kelsey admits she doesn't even like champagne.

But back to Victoria P. and Peter: They enjoy dinner in a romantically lit hangar while Victoria P. tells Peter about her dad's death when she was young, her mom's addiction issues and growing up in and out of shelters. Peter says he appreciates her opening up to him and that he's never been so inspired by someone. Congratulations on your rose, Victoria P. You deserve it.

How do you solve a problem like Alayah?

Peter may have told us before the season started there wasn't a monstrous villain – but Alayah sure seemed like a candidate for the title this episode. Sydney warns us early in the episode there's something off about the pageant queen. And it's all too convenient when the two of them plus Kiarra, Sarah, Tammy, Kelley, Shiann and Savannah are picked for the next group date.

Demi (from Colton's season and "Bachelor in Paradise") swoops in with her "henchwomen," "Champagne" and "Killer," to loudly wake the house with pillows full of feathers.

They provide pajama outfits for the women on the group date, which is at a saloon. The group will be playing "Demi's Extreme Pillow Fight Club" – aka pelting each other with pillows in a wrestling ring. Demi knows there's a lot of tension in the mansion, so this gives them an opportunity to let loose. Alayah and Sydney fight each other, and Demi later picks them to go head-to-head in a championship round. Alayah is crowned queen and snags a kiss from Peter.

When they talk later, her voice noticeably higher-pitched, she says Peter has now seen both her sweet side and her stronger side. She wants to be more vulnerable with him and says she's been abandoned a lot both by friends and in relationships.

Sydney isn't buying whatever Alayah is selling. She tells Peter that the show makes women not act themselves when the cameras are on. Peter is afraid of falling for someone who's fake.

He tells the group there are concerns about people not being real with him and he puts Sydney on the spot. Sydney calls out Alayah, but when Alayah asks if anyone else feels that way about her, no one speaks up (naturally). Alayah assures Peter separately she wouldn't be there if she didn't have feelings for him. Peter believes both Sydney and Alayah, but he gives Sydney the rose for being honest with him and putting his needs over everyone else's. This makes sense for now, but if Sydney wants to win his heart, she should stick to her own relationship with him.

Oooh: 'The Bachelor': Peter Weber and Chris Harrison explain that Hannah Brown premiere shocker

Victoria P. shocks Peter with truth about Alayah

Peter is supposed to be at the house for an afternoon pool party, though when he arrives he's not in the mood for fun.

He tells Sydney he feels horrible for putting her on the spot and wants to take time to figure out what's really going on with the rest of the group. No time to waste, Peter!

Kelsey, Natasha and Lexi more or less tell Peter that Alayah is a different person in front of the cameras.

At first Alayah assuages Peter's concerns. But then Victoria P. tells him she knew Alayah somewhat before the show as part of the pageant world, and that Alayah asked her to not tell producers they knew each another. She adds that Alayah was open to all the opportunities that would come after the show, even if Peter didn't choose her in the end.

"Maybe she's not the one for you," Victoria P. says. Ouch!

Peter asks Alayah about it, and she admits that she and Victoria P. are friends outside of "The Bachelor" and that she was afraid of being disqualified. He's obviously upset – not at a great time for Alayah.

Who does Peter send home?

Remember that Victoria F. (from last episode), Victoria P. and Sydney already have roses.

Kelsey, Hannah Ann, Natasha, Lexi, Madison, Shiann, Kelley, Kiarra, Tammy, Savannah and Deandra all receive roses. With two left, Peter walks away to talk with Chris Harrison. When Chris returns he takes one of the roses away.

Who wins it?! Mykenna. So, Alayah, Jasmine, Sarah and Alexa won't move on.

"I don’t know if I want to let her leave right now," Peter apparently tells one of the producers about Alayah, and hopes he made the right decision.

That said: Alayah is in the promo for next week's episode. Is she returning to compete again for Peter's heart, or simply to spill some tea? Until next time …
