The Bachelor UK’s Alex and Alicia reveal they briefly split up after filming the show
Not being funny, but The Bachelor UK was probably one of the best TV shows of recent years, right? Forget that little-known show called Game Of Thrones, because Channel 5’s Bachelor is where it’s at.
If you watched the reality dating show, you’ll have seen personal trainer Alex Marks handing Alicia Oates his final rose, therefore picking her as the woman of his dreams.
But, did you know the pair actually called time on their relationship after filming ended? In the new issue of OK! magazine, Alex and Alicia reveal that before the show aired, the pressure of keeping their romance a secret was almost too much for them.

Alex said: “We had to live like spies as we had to keep the relationship a secret until the show aired, which put a strain on us.”
Despite that, the couple are already looking forward to tying the knot.
“We want a wedding that lasts a whole weekend, with games and drinks on tap,” Alex, 31, revealed.
“Alicia told me that her wedding dress will have a long train that is attached by Velcro so she can rip it off for all the dancing.
“She’ll have a goblet of pink gin in one hand and the other one free to rave. Mark [Wright] will play a part in our wedding. Victoria and Gabriella will be there, too. I can see it all.”
On why he chose 25-year-old Alicia, Alex opened up about opposites attracting; saying: “We might be total opposites, which is what my head was saying, but my gut and heart were saying Alicia.
“We had an undeniable chemistry and everything I learnt about her I loved. She just makes me smile.”
