Being sexually objectified at such an early age took a toll on Hannah Brown’s mental health.

“The Bachelorette” star opened up about an early interaction with a beauty pageant director that has scarred her throughout the years.

“I had a director of a pageant, she emailed me a picture of another girl’s body and said, ‘I need you to look like this in your swimsuit before this time,’ " Brown recalled an episode of the Facebook Watch series “At Home with the Robertsons” that will air on Monday.

The 26-year-old reality star has been candid in the past about her body image struggles.

According to People, she told the mother and daughter hostesses Korie and Sadie Robertson that the “objectifying” comments “really messed with” her.

She continued, “it killed me, it really did. I would go a year without eating carbs. It really messed with me a lot and I dealt with some anxiety and depression because of it.”

On YouTube, the “Dancing with the Stars” winner recalled that while her struggles with her body started at an early age, the bad feelings were exacerbated when she entered the pageant world.

“I remembered I was hungry. I was so, so hungry,” Brown about an “extreme diet” she went on after a dear pal suggested she only eat and drink liquids to lose weight.

“As soon as I stopped [dieting], after the pageant, I was literally starving, all the weight came back on and more,” Brown divulged. “That was really hard for me, so that started the constant yo-yo that I’ve had for so long.”

The Tuscaloosa, Ala., native — who gained fame as a contestant of “The Bachelor” in 2018 and then as the standalone star of “The Bachelorette” — said being around “all these beautiful women that are all so small” was hard for her.

Competing on the celebrity-studded dancing competition didn’t ease her negative feelings about her weight either.

“It’s hard when you’re always around other beautiful, professional women that dance,” Brown said. “I was so hard on myself.”

Focusing on self-love now, the brunette has admittedly struggled with accepting her body.

“The whole issue with it all was I didn’t have any self-worth through all that,” she confided in the clip. “I’m like, ‘No, Hannah! Cut the crap and learn to have a healthy lifestyle and accept how your body is.’”

“I needed to dig deep emotionally in who I want to be,” she added. “Thank goodness I’ve grown and changed and so has my body.”

“At Home with the Robertsons” is a chatfest centering around the family life of Willie & Korie Robertson, who gained fame from the A& E reality series “Duck Dynasty.”

For their new social media/reality TV hybrid, the couple invite celebrity guests into their Louisiana home for a day of southern hospitality, compelling and honest conversations, and fun-filled outdoor adventures, all served with a dose of Robertson-style humor.
