Backdoor Theatre presents enchanting production of 'Ken Ludwig's Sherwood'

The thrilling adventures of Robin Hood will be on full display for Backdoor Theatre's production of "Ken Ludwig's Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood."

The show will be at their dinner stage with performances through Sept. 2.

Robin Hood and his band of merry outlaws battle against the oppressive Sheriff of Nottingham. See daring sword fights, archery competitions and chases through the forest on his amazing adventure.

Director for the show is Cassie Toft.

The roughish and lovable Robin Hood is played by Nick Palatas alongside the brave Maid Marian (Shawna Papenthein.)

Other cast members include Maid Marian's lady-in-waiting Deorwynn (Abby Crutchfield); Sheriff of Nottingham (Corey Rauscher); Sir Guy of Gisborne (David Cook); Prince John (Zachary J Binx); Little John (Kaine Peterson); Friar Tuck (Jay Burnam); and ensemble cast Rylie Ammons, Max Carrizales, Riley Crabtree, Nicole McGhee, Trenatee Smith-Jackson and Fern Velez.

Upcoming shows will be Aug. 24, 26,31, Sept. 1 and Sept. 2. Due to Hotter 'n' Hell, the Aug. 26 performance will be at 8 p.m. and will not have a dinner service. The beverage station will still be available that night.

Tickets are $15-$21 with an optional dinner prepared by Progress & Provisions for $20 extra per person. Dinner orders will need to be placed at least 24 hours before a production.
