Bad news for fans in the Fresno area hoping to see the Raiders against the Bears on TV

If fans plan to watch the Las Vegas Raiders on television in the Fresno area on Sunday might have to look at alternatives.

That is because FOX KMPH 26.1 is opting to show the Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers game at 1:05 p.m. The Raiders will visit the Chicago Bears at 10:05 a.m. Sunday.

It’s a single game on the FOX channel while CBS is showing a doubleheader.

It is not the first time the local FOX station opted to go with another game, rather than the Raiders.

In 2021, KMPH showed the Rams and Detroit Lions because of the “intriguing matchup” between Jared Goff and Matthew Stafford.

In 2022, the Raiders and Broncos game wasn’t shown on KMPH because “NFL organization are the final decision makers for all NFL game assignments” and that “we will almost always be assigned a California team over any other.”

Raiders fans in Fresno can still watch the game against the Bears if they order NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV.

Las Vegas (3-3) is coming off a 21-17 victory over the New England Patriots. Chicago lost to the Minnesota Vikings 19-13.
