Bad Sisters' Anne-Marie Duff shares how writers’ strike will affect season 2

Sharon Horgan's murder mystery series Bad Sisters is one of the many series that have been caught up in the current writers' strikes.
Bad Sisters star Anne-Marie Duff has opened up about the strikes, revealing that Horgan did take part in the strikes and was on the picket line.
The Apple TV+ series, coming straight off an impressive night at the BAFTAs, was already confirmed to be back for a second run.
The murder mystery went home with the coveted Best Drama Series award, as well as Best Supporting Actress award for Duff.
In the winners' room, Duff revealed that Horgan was "engaged in a strike".
"Yes, Sharon was engaged in a strike," she said. "I was just in LA, so she was on the picket line very much.
"So she has a double life – no, triple life – as she has her Irish writing career, her English writing career, and her American writing career, so whatever room she's in, she's in at that time.

"I think I can safely say that to you, but she was very much engaged with the strike."
Set in Ireland, the dark comedy series follows the Garvey sisters, who, after the death of their abusive brother-in-law, are targeted by life insurers who are suspicious of the gang. The women have plenty of reasons to kill John Paul, and the series follows the investigation into his death.
Starring alongside Catastrophe and Pulling creator and star Horgan as the five sisters are Shameless and Sex Education's Anne-Marie Duff, The Last Kingdom's Eva Birthistle, Penny Dreadful's Sarah Greene and Behind Her Eyes' Eve Hewson.
Also joining the stellar cast are Dracula's Claes Bang, who stars as John Paul, Love/Hate's Brian Gleeson, and Peaky Blinders star Daryl McCormack.
