This one’s for all the Bad Witches out there. Get your tickets now for the Bad Witches Drag Brunch on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. at The Tipsy Toboggan, 75 Ferry St., Fall River. With special guests from Drag In RI, this event is for ages 18 and older. You can make reservations and find tickets via www.TheTipsyToboggan.com. Tickets are $15 per person, and ticket price does not include cocktails or food ordered. Seating is limited and tables will be assigned as first-come, first-served.
YMCA SouthCoast’s Corks and Forks at Narrows Center for the Arts
On Thursday, Oct. 19, at 5:30 p.m., stop by for YMCA SouthCoast’s Corks and Forks event at The Narrows Center for the Arts, 16 Anawan St., Fall River. Featured restaurants include: Europa Pastries and Coffee Shop; The Tipsy Toboggan; The Path; Green Jar Cocina & Catering; Hong Meas; Origen; Dunny’s BBQ; Primo’s Catering; Avo’s Feast; and Northern Winds. Plus, there will be wine from Jay’s Wine and Spirits, and beer from Troy City Brewing and Canned Heat Craft Beer. Right now, Core Nutrition, 25 Market St., Swansea, is offering a special flavor for October, for a good cause. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and all month long Core Nutrition is offering a strawberry-Oreo shake (it’s pink). They’ll be making donations to the Gloria Gemma Foundation.
Fall specials at Coastal Roasters
Sip on some classic and cozy flavors with the fall specials at Coastal Roasters, 1791 Main Rd., Tiverton. They’ve got a pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin cold foam, a pumpkin protein smoothie, and a Great Pumpkin Latte, which has organic pumpkin puree, real maple syrup, espresso, and your choice of milk. There’s also apple cider, and an apple chaider: hot or iced apple cider with Coastal’s masala chai and cinnamon. If you really want to treat yourself, go for The “Grace” Maple Sea Salt Latte. It’s got real maple syrup, Himalayan pink sea salt, espresso, your choice of milk, and, for an extra nice touch, add cinnamon.
