'We are all Bailey': Elizabeth Warren's dog goes viral after stealing a burrito

WASHINGTON – Sen. Elizabeth Warren dropped out of the presidential race on Thursday. It wasn't long after that her dog, Bailey, started trending on Twitter for "stealing" somebody's burrito and rallying social media users to his defense.

Gabrielle Farrell, a press secretary on Warren's campaign tweeted, "Bailey legit just swiped someone’s burrito," with a video of people, including the senator's husband, Bruce, trying to wrestle the burrito out of Bailey's mouth.

The tweet quickly circulated around Twitter, with nearly 6,000 retweets just two hours after it was posted.

Another Warren staffer tweeted that "The vibe is: Bailey Warren running freely around Warren HQ."

Bailey Warren was trending soon after.

Bailey became an unofficial mascot for his mom's 2020 presidential campaign by attending campaign events, appearing during Warren's infamous selfie lines, and even crashing live interviews.

Though Warren will not be competing for the Democratic nomination any longer, Twitter users were quick to show her doggo some love online.

Burrito-giant Chipotle also chimed in on who they think should run in the next election:

The overall Twitter consensus was to let Bailey eat all the burritos to cope with Warren dropping out of the race.
