12 of the best Bake Off inspired baking tools

The Great British Bake Off is set to return to our TV screens on 27 August 2019 with a new batch of bakers pitching up in the infamous tent.

Some 12 contestants will be battling it out for the top spot in this year’s iconic cookery show.

But it’s likely not just the contestants who will be baking once the show kick-starts: In 2012, John Lewis reported a 15% increase in sales of mixers and an increase in sales of blenders by just under 10% since the launch of the show. In 2016, the popular series sparked a revival in traditional puddings with sales of old favourites such as spotted dick, jam roly poly and bread and butter pudding rising up 20% compared to the previous year.

So, should you be inspired to knock up a bake or two, we’ve hunted down the exact baking tools that are found in the Bake Off tent from the retro fridge to that coveted mixer so you can whip up your showstopper like a pro.
