TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Buccaneer’s underdog season ended this week with the team’s divisional-round loss to the Detroit Lions, but that did not stop hall-of-fame wrestler and Tampa resident Ric Flair from voicing his support for the team.

Flair took to X to voice his support for Baker Mayfield, proclaiming his respect for the team and calling quarterback Baker Mayfield a badass.

Mayfield, who played for three teams before joining the Buccaneers last offseason, took over the quarterback position for the retiring Tom Brady and led the Buccaneers to an improbable playoff appearance and victory.
