Caleb Williams displayed savvy and calm beyond his freshman status on Saturday against Kansas for Oklahoma.

The quarterback ran 40 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 4th-and-3.

For an encore, he stole the ball from teammate Kennedy Brooks on a fourth-down play.

Instead of the ball going over to the Jayhawks, who had the running back stopped on the play, Williams snatched the ball and took off .. for a first down.

The play enabled the Sooners to continue their drive and they wound up scoring a touchdown — Brooks on a short run — that iced the 35-23 victory.
