A man killed in a crash when a driver reportedly went through a stop sign Wednesday in rural Fresno County was identified.

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office said 48-year-old Jeff Mullhofer of Bakersfield was killed when a service truck headed north on James Road failed to stop on Manning Avenue before striking a Ford pickup.

The collision southwest of Tranquillity happened at 9:30 a.m.
