Bald Eagle Struts Across Yard in Central Florida
Seeing a bald eagle in the wild is a special sight for anyone, but Apopka, Florida, resident Linda Boucher got a front row seat as one of the birds walked across her yard on December 13.
Boucher recorded a video of the creature and posted it to Facebook captioned: “Look at what was in our yard this morning. Crazy!” The footage was shot from inside Boucher’s home and shows the bird as it walks around her yard, stopping a few times and looking around before flying away.
Florida is home to one of the largest populations of nesting bald eagles in the country, and the Apopka area is known for having some of the best bird watching in the state. Credit: Linda Boucher via Storyful
