BALLSTON SPA — Ballston Spa police are asking for the public's help in finding whoever vandalized a village park recently, causing thousands of dollars in damage.
The vandalism happened on or before Monday at Kelley Park on Ralph Street, police said.
The vandals broke dozens of fence posts and signs, spray-painted graffiti with numerous vulgarities on the children's equipment and destroyed other objects there, police said.
The investigation into the damage remained ongoing Wednesday and police asked for any information that may lead to the arrests of whoever damaged the park.
The playground is to remain closed to the public until further notice, until the damage can be fixed, police said.
Tips can be reported to the Ballston Spa Police Department through its website at: https://www.ballstonspapoliceny.org/report-a-crime
