The tree giveaway took place from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday at the City of Charlotte Landscape Management on Tuckaseegee Road.

Volunteers from Bank of America joined TreesCharlotte staff and TreeMasters to hand out trees to all of the registered residents.

For several years, Bank of America has worked with nonprofits and local organizations in Charlotte to help push economic mobility. TreeAdoption events work to spread the benefits of trees with all of Queen City while diversifying the tree canopy to bring in cleaner air and cooler temperatures.
