The functioning and protection of the banking system was discussed at the regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff.

This was reported by Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, on air during the 24/7 national joint newscast.

He pointed out that the protection of the banking system was being considered at the meeting.

"We understand what to do in order for this system to work in a stable manner, and we gave [those responsible] the appropriate instructions in this regard. We will do everything necessary so that the banking system works without crashing, and that people understand what to do in case there is any issue anywhere," Danilov stressed.
