“We are sort of Texas barbecue inspired,” owner Bob Bennett said. “We have our typical pork and brisket and pulled chicken. We also do a really good smoked wing.”

The restaurant serves a variety of barbecue meats and sandwiches, along with sides such as mac and cheese, cheesy potatoes, baked beans and corn casserole.

“We also take all the products we have and kind of put a twist on them,” Bennett said. “For instance, we make something called a Mac and Moo, which is a brisket sandwich with macaroni and cheese on it, kind of help together with even more cheese and some onions and a tangy barbeque sauce.”

Bob’s Backyard Barbeque features a dining room for eating in, along with take-out and catering. The restaurant will be available on DoorDash, GrubHub and UberEats later this month, Bennett said.
