Vladislav Demidovich gave over 90 haircuts

in 48 hours

only stopping to eat and drink

(SOUNDBITE) (Russian) RUSSIAN BARBER, VLADISLAV DEMIDOVICH, SAYING:

"I didn't understand what was happening at all on the morning of the second day, I was just cutting and that's it. My hands were moving on their own and I was just watching."

Each haircut was given 40 minutes

and Vladislav plans to apply to the Guinness Book of Records

for the longest non-stop haircutting marathon

(SOUNDBITE) (Russian) KOSTROMSKAYA TSIRYULNIK MANAGER, DZHOKHAR KURBANOV, SAYING:

"This guy gives great haircuts from the first client to the last. You saw the penultimate client on our list leave satisfied. People were joking on social media that they would not like to be the last client because he might cut an ear off. People were worried because they thought that he wouldn't be able to take it. But it turned out completely the opposite."
