Barbie Ferreira and Haley Lu Richardson Will Star in UNpregnant , an HBO Max Movie About Friendship

It looks like Euphoria star Barbie Ferreira has locked down a new project to keep her busy until season two filming begins. Even better, Five Feet Apart star Haley Lu Richardson will be joining her.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Barbie and Haley will star in UNpregnant, one of the first feature films being made for the forthcoming streaming service HBO Max. The movie will be produced by CW heavy-hitters Sarah Schechter and Greg Berlanti (who are responsible for your fave shows like Supergirl, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow).

UNpregnant is based on the YA novel of the same name written by Jenni Hendriks and Ted Caplan. The story follows two best friends who live in Missouri and go on a road trip once one of the girls becomes pregnant but has to seek out a legal abortion in another state. At the moment it's unconfirmed which roles Barbie and Haley are playing.

Haley has been a star on the rise for some time, breaking out in a big way with roles in Edge of Seventeen and Split before starring in the aforementioned Five Feet Apart and will be in the upcoming After Yang opposite Colin Farrell. Meanwhile, this is Barbie's first feature-length film as she builds up her acting career following her Euphoria success.

THR notes that UNpregnant will film this fall and will hopefully be ready for the launch of HBO Max early next year.
