Euphoria has forever altered our makeup routines, proving that one can never have enough sparkle, or enough drama. And the cast is just as stylish IRL, with stars from the HBO series including Zendaya and Barbie Ferreira rocking literally every red carpet on which they appear. Just when we thought we had truly seen it all from the Euphoria stars, Barbie has returned with another mega stylish moment, and she might just have redefined the classic cat eye in the process.
On Friday, Barbie posted her "oops" look, and let's be clear, there's no accident, because this routine is major. Wearing her hair in a half ponytail, the star kept the focus entirely on her dramatic eye makeup, which featured a touch of blue-green shadow around the inner corners, and a striking black line that followed the shape of her eye. Bringing her eyeliner to inner corner, she then traced to below the brow bone and extended it out, making for just the slightest winged effect.
Barbie tagged some of those that helped make the epic ensemble happen, including Chris Horan, William Scott, and Lacey Redway. In additional photos from the evening, she wore an equally dramatic outfit, which featured a leather jacket, a black lacy top, and black and blue flats. She finished the entire thing off with a mint green handbag.
Although the choice of makeup didn't include any Euphoria-esque sparkle, the look was reminiscent of how characters on the series often line their lids. Instead of a traditional cat eye, the show often includes playful takes on shape, with lots of rhinestone and color.
If you're feeling inspired, recreating this look — or another Euphoria fave — is relatively easy, and whether you splurge on a Sephora trip or pick up a drugstore product, it's truly all about embracing your inner makeup artist. Below, you can scroll through some of our picks to get your own Barbie-inspired cat eye.
