Barbie's Malibu Dreamhouse Is Available for $60 a Night on Airbnb

A truly historic, childhood-dream event is happening next week: Barbie's Malibu dream house—a real place that exists in California, at least for the time being—will be available to rent on Airbnb for the first time…and only time ever, allegedly.

Barbie's listing is already live here, and one lucky guest will be able to book it on Wednesday, October 23 at 2 P.M. ET/11 A.M. PT. They'll be able to reserve the entire house for $60 a night (in honor of Barbie's 60th anniversary) and spend two nights on the property, Sunday, October 27 to Tuesday, October 29, with up to three friends.

In the words of Barbie on her listing: "I promise the memories will last a lifetime" and "this is a once in a lifetime chance." How bittersweet for most of us.

Features include an infinity pool with views of the beach, a personal cinema, a hobby studio, a sport court, a meditation space, an outdoor dining patio, and a fully-stocked kitchen. The house has a ton of life-size Barbie accessories and splashes of pink in practically every room.

There's some additional perks for the lucky renter, because staying in Barbie's dream house is a full-fledged Airbnb experience. The guests will have a meet-and-greet with hairstylist Jen Atkin, a one-on-one fencing lesson with fencing medalist Ibtihaj Muhammad, a globally-inspired cooking lesson with Gina Clarke-Helm of Malibu Seaside Chef, and a behind-the-scenes tour of Columbia Memorial Space Center with pilot and aerospace engineer Jill Meyers.
