STORY: FC Barcelona coach Quique Setien said on Wednesday (July 15) he has not given up hope of winning La Liga.
While Luis Suarez already conceded the La Liga title to Real Madrid, saying it is 'almost impossible' that Barcelona could catch them, Setien kept his focus when team prepared for their La Liga match against Osasuna on Thursday (July 16).
Lionel Messi notched a 20th assist of the season to help a lacklustre Barcelona secure a 1-0 win away to Real Valladolid on Saturday (July 11), maintaining the pressure on Real Madrid.
Real Madrid, who recorded their ninth consecutive victory against Granada on Monday (July 13), can clinch their first title since 2017 on Thursday with a win at Villarreal, or if Barcelona lose points when they host Osasuna.
