Barnes & Noble is returning to Hartsdale: Here's where and when

GREENBURGH – Barnes & Noble is returning to town with a targeted late-summer opening, Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said.

The chain has signed a lease in the Hartsdale hamlet's Dalewood Shopping Center, according to a news release on the town website. The bookstore will open in a 12,490-square-foot space that formerly housed Mrs. Green's Natural Market, near the Christmas Tree Shop.

“They will open this store with a brand new design seen in the most recent Barnes & Noble store openings,” Feiner said, adding: “We miss browsing in bookstores. This is the type of business that will help revitalize the Central Ave. business corridor. This is good news for Central Ave. and great news for our residents and shoppers.”

A Barnes & Noble closed in 2012 in Hartsdale.
