BART recovering from earlier delay due to person on tracks

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — BART is recovering from a 10-minute delay in downtown Oakland earlier Thursday due to a person on the tracks, the transit agency said. The person was reported on the tracks near MacArthur station.

Thursday’s incident follows an incident on Wednesday in which there were major BART delays due to a person in the Transbay Tube.

Earlier on Thursday, a 20-minute delay on the San Francisco line in the SFO and Millbrae directions due to police activity was resolved, according to 511.org. The system is recovering from an earlier problem at West Oakland station that was also due to police activity, BART said.

All trains are stopping again at West Oakland station.
