Baseball – No. 15 Texas A&M vs No. 1 LSU

Time is not the only thing that’s changed recently, as the Aggies will see a major step up in competition starting this weekend. No. 15 Texas A&M (13-4) is now entering conference play in a league that has six of the top ten teams and nine in the top 25. There are no “easy” games left. To make matters more exciting, their opening series is against the No. 1 LSU Tigers from March 17 – 19.

Until this point in the season, the Aggies have only faced two ranked teams in No. 14 Louisville who blew them out 15-4, and No. 25 Texas Tech who they beat after a marathon 16 innings 4-2. With that being said they are riding an eight-game winning streak with some decent pitching so this series against LSU will give us a good look at where they stand.
