Baseball: Rox win, take advantage of Huskies' miscues

Jun. 11—Otto Kemp had three hits and three runs as the St. Cloud Rox took advantage of all kinds of Duluth Huskies miscues in an 11-5 Northwoods League victory Thursday before 1,365 at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud.

This one could have been worse but St. Cloud (5-4) left 18 runners on base. The Huskies yielded 14 walks, hit two batters, had a wild pitch and committed five errors.

Mike Boeve and Ambren Voitik had two hits apiece and Beau Wimpee scored two runs to lead the Huskies (3-8).

The same teams rematch at 7:05 p.m. Friday at Joe Faber Field.
