- Sacramento Kings guard Rajon Rondo, who helped Boston win the 2008 title, was suspended for one game without pay by the NBA Friday for actions during a loss in Mexico City. The 29-year-old playmaker will miss Sacramento's home game against Houston on Tuesday as punishment for what the league termed "directing a derogatory and offensive term towards a game official and not leaving the court in a timely manner upon his ejection". The incident, which brought Rondo two technical fouls and ejection from the game, took place with 6:30 remaining in the third quarter of Sacramento's 114-97 loss to the Boston Celtics on December 3.
