Basketball roundup: Minnewaska girls edge Litchfield, 35-33

Jan. 22—LITCHFIELD — The Minnewaska girls basketball team earned its fifth win of the season at Litchfield on Saturday, beating Litchfield 35-33.

Lakers sophomore Sydney Dahl led the way, scoring 12 points and notching three steals.

Minnewaska held a 21-15 lead at halftime. Litchfield outscored the Lakers 18-14 in the second half.

Dragons senior Greta Hansen recorded 11 points and 14 rebounds. She also led Litchfield with three steals.

Minnewaska plays Morris/Chokio-Alberta at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday in Morris. Litchfield plays host to Watertown-Mayer at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Becker improved to 11-2 with a dominating victory at Willmar.
