Basketball scoreboard: Lakeview Academy lands win against Riverside Prep

Jan. 24—Lakeview Academy's Tayden Ware finished with a game-high 20 points and Justyce Sadler added 16 as it topped Riverside Prep 80-67 on Tuesday.

Also for the Lions (9-11), Jack Collins scored 15 points and Brock Graham chipped in 14.

Liam Weidner added 11 points for Lakeview Academy.

Up next, Lakeview hosts Bethlehem Christian at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

WEST HALL BOYS 54, LUMPKIN COUNTY 51: Xavier Felix netted 14 points as the Spartans (10-10, 5-3) outlasted Lumpkin County in Region 7-3A action Tuesday night in Oakwood.

West Hall also got nine points from Isaiah Holder and eight points each from Andrew Malin and Owen Jenkins to stay within two games of the region lead.

LANIER CHRISTIAN GIRLS 37, YOUNG AMERICANS CHRISTIAN 32: Ellie Roberts had 14 points and 15 rebounds for the Lady Lightning on Tuesday. Adelyn Gough chipped in 12 points and six rebounds.
