'Tis the season for winter sports!
Voting is back as basketball and wrestling seasons get underway in the Poconos.
Every week, the Pocono Record will publish Athletes of the Week polls online. This week's polls will run until Thursday at 7 p.m.
Voting is restricted to once hourly through public IP addresses. The girls' poll can be accessed online at poll.fm/11256433. Find the boys' poll at poll.fm/11256438.
Descriptions of the athletes' performances are included before the polls.
To nominate a student-athlete for next week's polls, email the Pocono Record sports department at sports@poconorecord.com with the athlete's name and relevant statistics or results. You can also direct message Pocono Record features reporter Micaela Hood on Twitter @micaelahood or Instagram @poconorecordsports to nominate an athlete for next week. Featured athletes are otherwise chosen based on results provided by coaches.

Girls' Athletes of the Week
Kaylee Rist, Seretta Manuel, Mia Ariola, Autumn Kanas, Giavanna Praino, Pocono Mountain West wrestling
The Panthers girls wrestlers placed second in their respective brackets at a tournament held in Pottstown on Dec. 2-3.
Kendel Card, senior, Stroudsburg basketball
The forward was selected to the Lake Region Tip Off Tournament's All Tourney team and was instrumental in leading the team to a 58-43 win against Carbondale on Dec. 3. It was the Lady Mountaineer's first win of the season.
Layla Hernandez, junior, East Stroudsburg South basketball
Hernandez had 20 points for the Lady Cavs when they defeated Tamaqua 37 - 35 in the consolation round of the Tamaqua Tipoff Tournament on Dec. 3.
Boys' athletes of the week
Juju Pagan, senior, Pocono Mountain West basketball
The star guard is off to an amazing start. He led the team (Pagan scored 17 of his points in the second half) to a 62-45 victory over Norte Dame Green-Pond on Dec. 3.
Rich Gilmore, junior, Stroudsburg basketball
The power forward had two steals and helped Stroudsburg with its first big win of the season with a 51-42 win over Monticello.
Logan Santos, senior, East Stroudsburg South basketball
The guard/forward had 12 points in the Joe Nespoli Tournament and helped seal a win at the foul line in the last quarter. Final score: Cavs win against Tunkhannock59-54.
