The ice cream company has frequently brought back the popular flavor during the Olympics since they first debuted it in 1979 “to honor being a champion with every scoop,” according to the company website. Baskin-Robbins joins brands like Chipotle, which wrapped its burritos in gold foil, and Nabisco, which launched the Olympics limited-edition Chips Ahoy, Oreo, and Ritz Crackers, to celebrate the 2021 games with some patriotic packaging and themed snacks.
