Baton Rouge police identify victim killed in Thursday shooting

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that happened Thursday, Feb. 8.

Emergency medical services responded to the 1700 block of 75th Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Police said Tedrick Owens, 23, was shot and killed at the scene.

Police do not have a motive or suspect at this time.
