Baton Rouge Resident Prepares for Flooding Ahead of Hurricane Ida's Landfall

Flooding preparations were underway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Saturday, August 28, as Hurricane Ida was expected to bring severe weather to the northern Gulf Coast, the National Hurricane Center said.

This footage filmed by Baton Rouge resident Brennen McAndrew shows sand bags lining his home’s exterior. “Flooded in May, praying to God I don’t flood again,” he wrote in a tweet.
