LAKE COUNTY, IL — The Lake County Sheriff's office released a weekly arrest summary detailing crimes reported on May 4 through May 10. Among the crimes reported include:
Warrant arrest: Aggravated domestic battery (strangulation), domestic battery
Marvin F. Johnson, 49, from the 1100 block of S. Northpoint Boulevard in North Chicago, was arrested on May 4 in the 500 block of Wilson Road in Des Plaines on a warrant for aggravated domestic battery — strangulation — and domestic battery. His bail is listed by the sheriff's office as $100,000, and his court date is scheduled for May 26.
Warrant arrest: Forgery, DUI
Jose A. Garcia-Rojas, 30, from the 300 block of Temple Avenue in Highland Park was arrested on May 5 at the same address on a warrant for forgery and driving under the influence (DUI). Garcia's bail is listed as $150,000 by the sheriff's office, and his court date is scheduled for July 10.
Warrant arrest: Domestic battery
Vincent Hollywood Pryor, 36, from the 0-100 block of Wisconsin Avenue in Waukegan, was arrested on May 5 at the same address on warrant for domestic battery, and also has a new charge listed as resisting/obstructing a peace officer. Pryor's bail is listed by the sheriff's office as $250,000, and his court date is scheduled for June 11.
Jeremy Starling, 29, from the 1700 block of Rand Road in Des Plaines, was arrested on May 6 on accusations of battery, while being held on other charges at the Lake County jail. Starling's court date is listed as May 27.
Warrant arrest: Aggravated battery, mob action
Willie D. R. McMath, 30, from the 2400 block of Sheridan Road in Zion, was arrested on May 6 at the same address on a warrant for aggravated battery and mob action. McMath's bail is listed by the sheriff's office as $50,000, and his court date is scheduled for June 4.
Violation of an order of protection
Hannah M. Tiani, 19, from the 1300 block of Almaden Lane in Gurnee, was arrested on May 8 in the 34400 block of N. Route 45 in Third Lake on accusations of violating an order of protection. Tiani's bail is listed by the sheriff's office as $20,000, and her court date is scheduled for June 10.
