The Battlefield Mall over the weekend welcomed a popular jewelry retailer with its first location in Springfield.

Kendra Scott hosted a grand opening this past weekend for its pop-up store. The event included activities, discounts and donations to local charities like the Junior League of Springfield, Harmony House and Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ozarks.

Kendra Scott is a jewelry retailer that offers a variety of the designer's jewelry and is known for customizable jewelry in a range of colors. It has stores in Kansas City and St. Louis.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kendra Scott to Battlefield Mall and the Springfield community,” said Amanda Estes, general manager of Battlefield Mall, in a press release. “The addition of Kendra Scott before the holiday shopping season, as well as their commitment to partnering with local charitable organizations through the Kendra Gives Back program further cements our commitment to provide shoppers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, tailored to their interests.”

A news release says Kendra Scott brand is inspired by the personal experiences, travel, and purpose-driven desire to create good in the world of its founder and executive chairwoman, Kendra Scott.
