In her first season on the floor for WKU, Bauer in the Hilltoppers continued to dominate the C-USA. They won their now fourth-straight regular season title and began the tournament Friday in hopes of claiming a fourth-straight C-USA tournament title.

Including C-USA Tournament play, the Hilltoppers have won 61-straigth conferences matches including a 14-0 mark this year in the regular season and an overall record of 26-2.

WKU is ranked 20th in the nation and directing the team from the setter position all season has been Bauer.

The redshirt freshman earned First Team All-Conference, C-USA All-Freshmen honors and was named the C-USA Freshman of the Year.

Bauer, who was three-time Lenawee County Player of the Year, had 1,033 assists this season averaging 10.99 per set, 16th in the entire nation and the highest in the C-USA.

Bauer's season-high in assists came on Nov. 10 when she recorded 51 in a five-set win against Rice.

Her season high in kills is 10 as she recorded the only triple-double in the C-USA this season as she had 10 kills to go with 10 digs and 39 assists in a five-set win against Northern Kentucky on Sept. 8.

Joining Bauer on First Team All C-USA was Lauren Matthews, who won C-USA Player of the Year for her second-straight season, and Paige Briggs. Abby Schaefer joined Bauer on the All-Freshmen team.

Katie Isenbarger was named to the Second Team and head coach Travis Hudson earned C-USA Coach of the Year for the fifth time.

Bauer, Briggs, who is from Ortonville, Michigan and graduated from Lake Orion, and Isenbarger all earned All-Academic honors for the C-USA. Bauer has a 3.79 GPA and is majoring in marketing and has a minor in graphic design.
