Bault advances to girls' track & field regional

The Owen Valley girls' track & field team recently competed at the Bloomington North sectional with one Lady Patriot athlete advancing. OV senior Emma Bault advanced to the Bloomington North regional in long jump with a distance of 16 feet two inches. Bault was fifth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.01.

Lily Smith placed sixth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:33.44 and was 14th in long jump with a distance of 14 feet 3.50 inches.

In the 100 meter dash, Olivia Wainscott was ninth in 13.99 with Rheann McMillan 11th in 14.83.

Wainscott finished 12th in the 200 meter dash in 30.34 with Natalie Young 13th in 32.18. Young finished 13th in the 400-meter dash in 1:15.47.

Madyson Whicker placed 10th in the 3200-meter run in 14:29.28 and was 12th in the 1600-meter run in 6:31.78. Maggie Feltner was 10th in the high jump at four feet, eight hinches.

In pole vault, Marina Knieriem placed 10th with a height of 7-0 with Sydney Jemison 14th, also at 7-0.

Bailey Kay placed 13th in the 800-meter run in 2:51.60.

In shot put, Nova Mobley was 13th with a throw of 24-10.5 with Katlyn Robinson 15th at 24-4.50. In discus, Robinson placed 12th with a throw of 74-5 while Mobley was 16th in 65-4.
