Bay FC announces schedule for upcoming inaugural season
(KRON) — The Bay Area’s recently launched women’s professional soccer franchise, Bay FC, announced the schedule for its inaugural season on Thursday. The team, which will play in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) rolled out its full 26-match regular season schedule for 2024, along with broadcast details.
The team, which was founded in part by U.S. Soccer legends Brandi Chastain and Aly Wagner, will play its first match away at Angel City FC on Saturday, March 16. The team’s first home game will be on Saturday, March 30, when they welcome the Houston Dash to PayPal Park, also the home of the San Jose Earthquakes.

During the course of the season, Bay FC will host a number of cultural and heritage nights including an Asian American Heritage Night, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Night, Pride Night, Juneteenth Night and Latino Heritage Night.
