Bay Jammin' Cinema Series returns to Cole Park for summer with 11 family-friendly films

The Bay Jammin' Cinema Series is set to return to the Cole Park Amphitheater this summer with 11 movies for families to enjoy together.

Starting after sunset at 1526 Ocean Drive, feature films will be screened while attendees lounge on picnic blankets, sit on folding chairs and enjoy snacks.

The Bay Jammin’ Cinema Series will be held on Fridays, from June 3 through Aug. 12.

The series is supported in its 18th year by the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department, Arts & Cultural Commission, Bay Jammin’ Series Inc. and local businesses.

The following movie titles and schedules are subject to change.

  • Friday, June 3: "Luca." Rated PG, 95 minutes.

  • Friday, June 10: "Soul." Rated PG, 100 minutes.

  • Friday, June 17: "Paw Patrol: The Movie." Rated G, 86 minutes.

  • Friday, June 24: "Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway." Rated PG, 93 minutes.

July

  • Friday, July 1: "Clifford the Big Red Dog." Rated PG, 96 minutes.

  • Friday, July 8: "Encanto." Rated PG, 102 minutes.

  • Friday, July 15: "Frozen II." Rated PG, 103 minutes.

  • Friday, July 22: "The Boss Baby 2: Family Business." Rated PG, 107 minutes.

  • Friday, July 29: "Sing 2." Rated PG, 111 minutes.

August

  • Friday, Aug. 5: "Raya and the Last Dragon." Rated PG, 107 minutes.

  • Friday, Aug. 12: "The Mitchells vs the Machines." Rated PG, 113 minutes.
