Bay Jammin' Concert & Cinema Series returns to Corpus Christi's Cole Park this summer

The 33rd annual Bay Jammin' Concert & Cinema Series, summer evenings of music and films at the Cole Park Amphitheater, will return Thursday, June 1.

Since 1989, the concert series has offered a variety of musical formats during the summer featuring local and Texas bands specializing in rock, blues, salsa, club and more. The cinema aspect started in 2003 with the addition of family-friendly films ranging from animation, comedy, adventure, fantasy and more.

The free event is funded by local business sponsorship and private donations. Concerts will be held on Thursday from 7:30 to 10 p.m. June 1 to Aug. 17 and movies every Friday after sunset from June 2 to Aug. 11.
