Bayern Munich reserve goalkeeper Daniel Peretz is out of action "for several weeks" with a right knee injury, the Bundesliga champions said on Saturday.

Bayern said that Israel's Peretz suffered an injury to the intraarticular ligament of his right knee during training for the second part of the season.

Peretz came to Bayern in summer and is their number three behind Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich. He played once for them, in a first round German Cup victory at Preussen Münster.

Bayern start the second part of the Bundesliga season on Friday against Hoffenheim.
