Bayern Munich and Germany winger Serge Gnabry has resumed running in training, five weeks after his leg muscle injury.

The 28-year-old completed the session on Monday in Munich while most of his team-mates are attending a training camp in Portugal.

Gnabry suffered the injury in the 5-1 defeat in Frankfurt. He has struggled to find his best form this season and has often been left out, with Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sané playing wide instead.

He had already been out for several weeks in September and October due to a broken forearm.

Gnabry has only featured in five Bundesliga matches this term and has yet to register a goal or an assist. In the previous season, he contributed 14 goals and seven assists to Munich's title-winning campaign.
