Bayou Blue Fire Department rescues man in house fire
Bayou Blue firefighters saved an unconscious man from a house fire Thursday morning, authorities said.
The Bayou Blue Fire Department was called out around 6:27 a.m. to a blaze in the 200 block of Louise Lane.
Fire crews quickly searched the home and found a non-responsive man still inside the burning home, authorities said. Firefighters removed the man from the home and extinguished the flames without further incident.
The resident was transported to a nearby hospital. He is expected to be OK, officials said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
