BBC announces Bluey spin-off with special celebrity guests

Kylie and Dannii Minogue are set to guest star in a spin-off of animated kids' series Bluey for the BBC, alongside The Office's Jenna Fischer and Killing Eve's Camille Cottin.
Titled Bluey Book Reads, the new spin-off series will see various celebrities bring Bluey storybooks to life, with new instalments to be released bi-weekly on Bluey.tv and the official Bluey YouTube channel.
Leading the new series are the Minogue sisters, whose episode launches today (February 12), with the pair reading the book 'Mini Bluey' together.
A heart-warming tale of self-discovery and sisterly love, Kylie will read as Bluey while Dannii will read as her sister as Bingo to tell the story – which sees Bluey hatch a plan to make her and Bingo more alike after their dad Bandit claims the sisters are too different.

Speaking about the project in a statement, former Neighbours star Kylie called Bluey an "Aussie icon," adding that the decision to read for the series was an "easy yes" for the pair.
She continued: "Mini Bluey was perfect for us for obvious reasons: big sister and little sister! It reminded me so much of being kids growing up in Australia. It's a funny, sweet and heart-warming tale of being yourself and encouraging others to do the same.
"I hope people have as much fun watching as Dannii and I had making this beautiful episode of Bluey Book Reads."
"There is life before Bluey, and life after! Once you know Bluey….you are hooked! The stories jump from the page and tickle me in the belly – it's laugh out loud," Dannii added.
"It is fun for so many ages, as we can all relate to different members of Bluey's family. The Mini Bluey story was a joy to read with my sister, Kylie. A perfect tale of sisters finding out that although they are different, they are perfect just as they are.
"We hope it brings you a smile right to the last page."

Joining the sisters as guest stars for the series are Cottin, Fischer, Deadpool star Rob Delaney and Vigil's Suranne Jones – with two episodes to be released every month.
Other members of the celebrity cast include Eva Mendes, Olympic champion diver Tom Daley, Hamilton's Jordan Fisher, comedian Romesh Ranganathan and conservationist Bindi Irwin. The full release schedule is available below.
