Murder Is Easy, the BBC's latest Agatha Christie adaptation, is on its way to screens this Christmas.

Set to premiere on December 27, a teaser trailer has been released for the two-part miniseries to give viewers a flavour of what to expect.

The action kicks off on a train to London where protagonist Fitzwilliam (Rye Lane's David Jonsson) meets Miss Pinkerton (Penelope Wilton).

Wilton's character has an unusual request for Fitzwilliam, asking what time Scotland Yard closes. When her fellow passenger seems puzzled, Miss Pinkerton reveals she's on her way to report a murderer is on the loose in the English village of Wychwood under Ashe.
