Erie Ale Works, 416 W. 12th St., is hosting a night for the vegan crowd and curious. This Thursday, Vulture Food and Sundae food trucks will be in the back lot. Vulture starts at 3 p.m. and Sundae at 4 p.m. They're calling it "Plant-Based Junk Food." Consider me intrigued.

Meanwhile, EAW is also hosting a Mom's Day Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. They'll be serving specials from food truck chef Tariq and his full menu of Philly cheesesteaks, falafel, tawook chicken, baba ghanoush, and "even a burger the size of your head" according to the Facebook event page. Gordon's, others seek to kiss a pig

Kyle Bohrer, owner of Gordon's Butcher and Market, 4815 Peach St., is raising money for The Boys & Girls Club of Erie in competition with several other local notables. The one who raises the most money gets to kiss a pig. That's right, on the snout. "Seeing as how Kyle’s last name is Bohrer I think this is a slam dunk," the Facebook post reads.
