TRI-CITIES, Tenn./Va. (WJHL) — A BBQ fundraiser supporting Jonesborough K9s, a Spaghetti Supper fundrasier, a State of Franklin Battle reenactment, musical performances at ETSU and more are set to happen this weekend in the Tri-Cities.

Below are events happening in the area on Friday, Feb. 23 through Sunday, Feb. 25.

Paws in Blue BBQ Fundraiser

  • BBQ dinner, meet-and-greet with Jonesborough K9s, silent auction and to-go orders

  • Proceeds support the Jonesborough Police Department’s K9s

  • Friday, to-go orders can be picked up from 5 – 6:30 p.m. Sit-down service will be from 6 – 9 p.m.

Kiwanis Club of Jonesborough Spaghetti Supper

  • Ticket includes salad, bread, spaghetti and dessert

Pete Rose in Downtown Bristol

  • The baseball legend will talk about his career, gambling, the Hall of Fame and more

Tipton-Haynes State of Franklin Battle

  • Battle reenactment about the 1788 leap-year battle between Colonel John Tipton and Governor John Sevier and the struggles of the State of Franklin attempting to gain their independence from North Carolina
