The Beach Boys are getting back around 'round 'round and are visiting Springfield this fall.

The California rock band is set to perform at Drury University's O'Reilly Family Event Center on Nov. 4 as part of its "America's Band" tour. West Plains' rock band HA HA TONKA will open. The concert comes as Drury University celebrates its 150th anniversary for the 2023-2024 school year.

In April, The Beach Boys were recognized in a CBS special, "A Grammy Salute to The Beach Boys." The 88-minute special featured performances from Beck, Brandi Carlile, Michael McDonald, Pentatonix, St. Vincent, Weezer, Norah Jones, John Legend and Mumford & Songs, according to a news release.

Last December, The Beach Boys released its box set, "Sail On Sailor — 1972," which celebrates the band's work from 1972, including the release of studio album "Carl and the Passions — 'So Tough.'" The set features remastered versions of studio albums, a reproduction of "Mount Vernon and Fairway" and an unreleased live concert at Carnegie Hall, according to a news release. Unreleased outtakes, live recordings, radio promos, alternate mixes and backing tracks are also in the set.
