The Beach Boys to perform at Williamsburg Live in June

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) – The Beach Boys are bringing “Fun, Fun, Fun” to Williamsburg!

The critically acclaimed band is bringing their “Endless Summer Gold” Tour to the Virginia Arts Festival’s Williamsburg Live.

Co-founder, lead singer and critically acclaimed chief lyricist Mike Love will lead the band along with longtime member Bruce Johnston. Love wrote the lyrics to the band’s first hit “Surfin'” and dozens of chart toppers.

Musical Director Brian Eichenberger, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, Jon Bolton, Keith Hubacher, Randy Leago and John Wedemeyer will join them and continue the legacy of the band. The concert will not feature Brian Wilson, Al Jardine or David Marks.

In a press release by the Virginia Arts Festival, they highlight the band’s many achievements. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band has won countless awards, sold over 100 million records worldwide and achieved triple-platinum success. In 2001, they received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Grammy Awards.

The Beach Boys will perform on Friday, June 21 at 5:30 p.m.

Williamsburg Live is an outdoor summer music event hosted by The Virginia Arts Festival at The Lawn of the Art Museum of Colonial Williamsburg. Past act’s include Sheryl Crow, Kenny Loggins, Norah Jones, Lake Street Dive, and more.

This year’s lineup includes 2024 Grammy award winner Laufey. She will perform on Sunday, June 23 at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are on-sale now.

Tickets for The Beach Boys go on sale Friday, February 23 at 10 a.m. They will be available for purchase at vafest.org, by phone 757-282-2822, and by visiting the Virginia Arts Festival Box Office, 440 Bank St. in Norfolk.
